About Jamie

Jamie Nichols is a Thunder Bay small-business owner and founder of Rose N Crantz Roasting Co. Since 2013, he has built a regional coffee business known for collaboration, local purchasing, community support, and developing a diverse team. He serves on the boards of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Food Action Network of Northwestern Ontario. Jamie is running for Councillor At-Large to champion local business, smarter growth, core infrastructure, and accountable municipal government.

What I Believe

A job may bring someone to Thunder Bay. A home they can afford, a safe neighbourhood and a good quality of life are what make them stay.
Small businesses are part of Thunder Bay’s social and economic fabric. The things they need—safe streets, attainable housing, dependable infrastructure and welcoming neighbourhoods—benefit everyone.
Council should care for existing infrastructure, public buildings and essential services before taking on unnecessary projects and costs.
Residents deserve clear reasons for major decisions and honest reporting on the results

Commitment

Thunder Bay does not need another list of promises from someone claiming they can fix everything.
It needs councillors who will do the homework, ask difficult questions and make responsible choices about what we maintain, what we build and what we leave future taxpayers to pay for.
